Summer 2024 Position Summary & Purpose:
Develop and gain experience with applied skills and knowledge in administrative related tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL:
Recruiting - Assist with the recruiting process:
job descriptions, compensation planning, job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, offer letter process, etc.
Onboarding - Assist HR staff with the onboarding process:
schedule orientation, create new hire packets, employee verification, etc.
Learning and Development - Assist in creating, scheduling, and implementing trainings to new and current staff members and management Administrative tasks - Assist in employee filing, creation of standard operating procedures and policies, schedule meetings, restock supplies as needed, data entry into HRIS as needed, etc.
Employee relations - Assist with addressing employee queries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters Employee communications - Assist with employee notices/postings, bulletin board management, intranet, video board monitors Benefits - Assist the Benefits Specialist with planning Open Enrollment and Health Fair Assist with Company Events; set-up, prepare documents, coordinate requests and production of needed items for events Perform a variety of other special projects to assist the advancement of the HR team and offerings Education and
Experience:
REQUIRED:
Currently enrolled in relevant undergrad or masters program including Business, Psychology or Communications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Characteristics, etc.
REQUIRED:
Detail oriented and excellent organizational abilities Understanding of HR principles and practices Proficient of computer application software such as MS Office, (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Must be organized and work well in a fast-paced environment Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
