CNC Machinist

Motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and complete tasks. Strong, experienced CNC / Manual machinist position responsible for all aspects of the machine cell or improvement activity. Individual will be required to operate, set-up and program/debug CNC Machinery. Willing to not only program the CNC machines, but also work with and share information on how to improve our overall machining department. Quiet, reserved, and to themselves personality, will not fit with our culture. We are up to some big things and need people who can actively participate in growing the business.
Essential Functions
MUST BE ABLE TO PROGRAM TO SOME DEGREE (ON THE COMPUTER) AND DEBUG PROGRAMS (AT THE MACHINE) DEALING WITH AEROSPACE TOLERANCES AND MATERIALS, DO SET UPS AND USE INSPECTION TOOLS.
o Performs operations on CNC machining centers and lathes and various other plant machinery and equipment.
o Individual will be responsible for working from blueprints and job descriptions.
o Individual must be fluent in G and M code on the machine and ideally work with (or willing to learn) CAD/CAM programs such as Mastercam or Autodesk Inventor.
o Tool-Making experience is important in addition to the CNC set ups and programs.
o Maintains records and logs, as needed.
o Guidance and direction will come from experienced production Leads. Performs related duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
o Graduation from high school and Technical School with 3-5 years of experience minimum.
o Ability to work from sketches, drawings, and blueprints.
o Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to communicate effectively.
o Ability to work cooperatively with others. Excellent work history and attendance record.
o Pre-employment drug screen required.
Pay Based on
Experience: $26 - $29/hr. With Full Benefits
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
